is a follow up of the nationwide initiative “CZECH 100 BEST” organized by the COMENIUS society. It presents the current economic elite of the Czech society comprised of exceptional and successful personalities – Czechs as well as foreigners – who work in the Czech Republic at various posts and fields of activity and achieve excellent results on a long term bases. The project thus increases awareness particularly among the professional sphere of the public about the highly qualified and devoted “Leaders” in the society especially during the current period of increasing integration within the EU.

The project is presented online at this website and in the hardcopy version as the “Almanac 1000 Leaders of the Czech Republic” with the opening address of the President Václav Klaus and other significant personalities.
